The Department of Electrical Engineering was established with a vision to produce high- quality technical professionals to meet the growing demands of the modern electrical sector. To achieve this goal, the department has
been consistently imparting quality education while striving for continuous improvement in teaching, research, and innovation.
It integrates scientific principles with practically oriented research, thereby developing systems and processes that foster the acquisition of new knowledge. Alongside academics, the department actively encourages students to participate in extracurricular and co-curricular activities, nurturing teamwork, leadership, and organizational skills essential for “Holistic Development.”

The department has an intake capacity of 60 students, it has well, experienced faculties and
developed laboratories of Power Electronics, Control system, Electrical machines, switchgear
and protection and many more.
Electrical Engineering being one of the core branch in Engineering, the students those who
graduate in this field can have a wide opportunity in the field of power sector like State
Electricity boards, Indian Railways, SAIL, GAIL, Renewable energy areas like Solar
and wind generation, Electric vehicles and many more. Department also has a student
forum "SURGE" where they can explore their hidden talents by conducting various co-
curricular, extra-curricular, social, technical, and industrial activities. Other than this
Department also conducts expert lectures by industry personal, industrial visits, social
activities, project competitions, etc.
